- This mold will be used to create custom-shaped aligners for you after making careful adjustments to rectify the position of each tooth. It may take 2-3 weeks before they are sent back to the doctor for placement.
- On your next visit, the orthodontist will make preparations to wear your custom-made invisible aligner trays. Multiple trays have a particular sequence for wearing. You will be instructed on how to wear them and for how long you should wear each tray.
- Unlike braces, these trays can be removed and changed at home and visits are only required to check your progress. Do not remove your aligners for too long as you may reverse the progress made.
- After you have worn all the trays in their correct sequence, you should visit your consultant for the final time to make any remaining necessary adjustments. After which you will have the results you were craving for.

Oral hygiene can go a long way if practiced properly. Even after your aligners, always remember the following.
- Always brush your teeth after each meal. This will reduce the risk of plaque or decay.
